Look — Paint by Numbers Template
Type your subject. Get a printable paint-by-numbers canvas — line art only, numbered regions, colour-key legend.
A craft template, not a finished painting. Type a subject — a golden retriever puppy, the Eiffel Tower at sunset, a bowl of fruit, a lighthouse on a cliff — pick a complexity level and a style, and the model produces a black-and-white paint-by-numbers canvas: line drawing of your subject divided into closed paintable regions, each labelled with a small black number, and a colour-key legend at the bottom listing every numbered colour with a swatch and its name. Print, paint.

What you bring
- A subject — what you want the template to depict.
- A complexity level — kids (≤15 colours, big regions), standard (≤30 colours), advanced (≤50 colours, fine detail). The model adapts the region density.
- A style — realistic, cartoon, impressionist. Determines how the regions are subdivided.
What you get back
A printable canvas with two parts: the line-art portion at the top (your subject as outlined, fully closed regions, each numbered), and the colour-key legend at the bottom (every used number with a small swatch and its English colour name). No filled colour anywhere except in the legend swatches. Crisp black lines on pure white background, ready to print and paint.
A template, not a painting
The prompt explicitly forbids a colored or shaded painting — the output is intentionally a craft template. Pre-fill nothing; leave the regions white; let the user do the painting. Watermarks, page numbers, and signature blocks are also forbidden so the canvas prints clean.
Cost & timing
8 credits per run. Roughly 60-70 seconds. With your 20 signup credits you get two before topping up.
Inspired by @TheRoaringToady on X — the comprehensive paint-by-numbers prompt with adaptive colour count and a colour-key legend. The source case requires a reference image input; we adapted the framing to text-to-image with a subject described in text. The three-complexity × three-style enforcement, slot scaffolding, and FORBIDDEN-cue blocks (no colored painting, closed regions, legend-only swatches) are FluxGen's.
